Norburn Announced As Finalist “International Retailer of the Year Award”

 

Norburn Lighting and Bath Announced As Finalist for International Retailer of the Year Award by the 24th Annual ARTS Awards.
Dallas Market Center and Accessories Resource Team (ART) announced the 24th annual ARTS Awards finalists. The ARTS Awards is the premier awards program for the home industry and is held each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market (Jan. 16–22, 2013).

The ARTS Awards is the premiere awards program dedicated to the home decorative accessories industry. Norburn Lighting and Bath is nominated for the International Retail Showroom of the Year .
In June of this year Norburn Lighting took home the prestigious award for 2012 North American Lighting Showroom of the Year sponsored by Residential Lighting Magazine and is excited to showcase itself again for this new recognition.

“Congratulations to the finalists for this year’s ARTS Awards,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “It’s an honor to celebrate the home industry’s finest manufacturers, retailers, product designers and sales reps.”

The finalists will submit a digital presentation to a panel of distinguished judges previously announced, including Melanie Belew, interior designer and owner of Belew Design Studio; Cheryl Holland-Bridges, director of the Center for Retailing Studies and executive professor of marketing at Texas A&M’s May Business School; Ignaz M. Gorischeck, vice president of store development at Neiman Marcus; Jena Hall, president and CEO of Jena Hall Associates; Leslie Newsom Rascoe, who helped launch VERANDA and held various editorial positions including fine arts editor and decoration and design editor; and Susan Inglis, producer, importer, sourcing agent and broker in the home furnishings, fashion and gift industries.
Developed by non-profit ART and produced by Dallas Market Center, the ARTS Awards is the premier international awards program dedicated to home industry excellence and achievement in retailing, manufacturing, design, and representation.

The ARTS Awards culminate with a black-tie gala held event on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
